Have you ever wonder, as Singaporean, aren't we sad little creatures that yet to experience the four seasons? Our vision, knowledge, and amibition could be just as tiny as our country. This is definitely not an insult to us, but a gentle reminder to myself that we can never be too overconfident with our achievements, and constantly we must find ways to improve, break through and learn from our neighbouring countries as much as possible.
This is my first post after losing touch from the blogging scene for quite some time. To kick start, let me introduce myself, the name is Lawrence Ong, I'm a freelance editor, film maker and an inspiring actor wanna be, HA. So if you have any lobang, please contact me. Currently I'm working in BLK A Pictures as an editor. This company mainly does corporate videos, event coverages, promo videos, music videos, short films and hopefully dramas and tv commercial in the near future. We are the ikan bilis of the sea, strangling every single day just to survive. We are the BLKheads.
As you can see from my humble post, I'm not a writer. So from time to time, I would like to express it through visual, using my humble Canon consumer cam or Nokia phone. I guessed since it is a webcast, it would seem pointless for me to shoot it on High Definition (as if someone can tell the difference). Anyway, besides us the anal media personal, who gives a damn to resolution? Film or HD? Dbeta or SP? DVcam or mini DV? All these bullshit eventually will boil down to dollars and cents. Cheaper the better. Don't act smart. This is the Singapore's policy that probably will stagnent us all.
Well, what do I know... I'm just a young punk, not a politician.
Just stay tune from upcoming webcast!
